The Mason Bed (headboard + bed frame)

The Mason Bed, inspired by the iconic hotels on the street of the same name in San Francisco, is a true showpiece for your bedroom. It is crafted from oak by our furniture maker, made entirely to measure and upholstered in high-quality fabrics. The fabric used in the photo is Nobilis Niamey.

Design & craftsmanship

The design combines symmetrical rounded shapes with a recessed mattress, creating a voluminous yet minimalist look. The headboard and the three frame sections are milled with the utmost precision using CNC technology, with symmetry guaranteed to the millimetre by AutoCAD drawings.

In our workshop, experienced craftspeople cut the fabric to size by hand and apply it to carefully shaped cold foam. This creates a soft, comfortable curve in both the headboard and the frame sections. Assembly is done with iron corner brackets, and the upholstery joins seamlessly thanks to precise mitre milling. The bed rests on invisible 2 cm legs for optimal ventilation and durability.

The Mason Bed is supplied according to your mattress size:

• 180×200 cm → frame 220×220 cm, headboard 247 cm wide, approx. 21 cm thick and 135 cm high

• 180×210 cm → frame 220×230 cm, headboard 247 cm wide, approx. 21 cm thick and 135 cm high

• 200×200 cm → frame 240×220 cm, headboard 267 cm wide, approx. 21 cm thick and 135 cm high

• 200×210 cm → frame 240×230 cm, headboard 267 cm wide, approx. 21 cm thick and 135 cm high

• 210×210 cm → frame 250×230 cm, headboard 277 cm wide, approx. 21 cm thick and 135 cm high

The bed frame is supplied including a slatted base and matched to the chosen mattress size.

Upholstery & pattern

The headboard fabric is railroaded - turned a quarter turn, because the fabric roll is a maximum of 140 cm wide. This creates a vertical centre seam in the headboard.

With fabrics that have a distinct pattern, the sides of the frame are also railroaded, so a subtle vertical seam is also visible halfway along. The pattern makes this seam barely noticeable.

With plain fabrics, on the other hand, the centre seam is clearly visible, which is why plain fabrics are strongly discouraged for this design.

The price excludes fabric. In our showroom you can choose from more than 100 fabrics and colours, so that The Mason Bed can be fully matched to your interior.
